Itinerary for a 3D2N Trip to Osoyoos BC

I have a very limited time to plan our Osoyoos trip and I need to squeeze in all the activities that my kids would enjoy in our 3 Days 2 Nights stay in Osoyoos.  There are a lot of things to do in this place and I  realize that I should have booked a week for this vacation.  Here are some of the activities that I have planned to try during our stay and I am pretty sure we will be back in this place next summer to try the other activities that we have not done in this vacation.

Road to Osoyoos

Here's the map from Vancouver to Osoyoos. It's a 401 KM - 4.5 hours drive in the mountainous roads of British Columbia. We took the route of Highway 1 - Highway 3 to get there. You will not get bored of the 4.5hours drive because of the beautiful landscape and mountain range on the side of the road. We only made 2 stopovers for washroom break and coffee, 1st stopover in Hope and the 2nd one is along the road with pit washrooms near Keremeos. All in all, the duration of our trip is around 5- 5.5 hours.

Please note that this itinerary is for a family with 2 kids in tow so I made sure that the kids will have ample time for swimming in the afternoon  and the schedule is not too tight for us to enjoy some relaxing time.

08:00 AM  Thursday  --- Stopover: Hope - coffee/washroom break.
10:30 AM Thursday  --- Stopover: Near Keremeos - washroom break.
11:00 AM  Thursday  --- Stop at Spotted lake - this is along the way before you reach the town proper
11:30 AM Thursday  --- Touchdown Osoyoos Town Center.
12:00 PM  Thursday  --- Eat buffet lunch at Golden Chopsticks Restaurant.
01:00 PM  Thursday  --- Visited British Columbia Visitor's Center to get some maps,etc.
01:15 PM  Thursday  --- Walked around the town, visited Osoyoos Art Gallery and Okanagan Art Gallery.
02:00 PM  Thursday  --- Hotel Check-in. The official check-in is at 3PM but they were able to accommodate us at 2PM.
03:00 PM  Thursday  --- Rest
04:00 PM  Thursday  --- Swim in the lake and indoor pool
06:00 PM  Thursday  --- BBQ time / Dinner
08:00 PM  Thursday  --- Walk around the beach area.
