Cultus Lake WaterPark Slides and Pools

Cultus Lake WaterPark has different types of slides everyone in the family can choose from. Every slide varies depending on how thrilling you want it to be. They have something for toddlers, for bigger kids, for the adults and even for seniors who just want to stay in the water. This is really a family friendly waterpark.

Let's start with the toddler's area:

  • The Kiddie Castle:  This area is for the toddlers or even infants. It has an ankle deep water with some small fountains on the side where water comes out horizontally that would splash out every once in a while.  The flooring is a cork-like design so the kids won't slip in the water. The castle has a couple of straight and twisted slides perfect for the kids who are just starting to explore the waterslide. Just make sure to let your kids wear life jacket for safety.

  • The Turtle Pool and Slides:  This part of the kiddie area has different kinds of slides for the little ones. This is where we spent the rest of the day because my little kids still have lots of energy to play around the slides. I think my son slid in the wide slide for 100x! He is so fast that after each slide he will come out of the water and try it again until he can no longer go up the stairs because he's tired, that's just so funny.  There's some turtle slide as well that is splashing out water and a frog in the pool.

There's also a spray park beside it and that's where my daughter hangs out because she loves waiting for the bucket to fill and dumps water to her.

  • Pirates Cove: This is one of my favorites because it is like a pretend pirate ship with lots of splashing water all over the ship. It was just amazing that this cove is pack with lots of features like slides, climbing rope, revolving umbrella, some puzzle like feature I don't know what to call that. There's also a bucket on top of the cove that dumps water in the area. The water is cold though, that is why my kids didn't stay here longer despite of its many features.

  • Adventure River: If you want to relax after trying out all of the slides, you can stay here in the Adventure river and just ride along with a floater. The single floaters are provided in the pool for the guests to use. I like it that the espresso hut is just along this pool so you can just easily go and grab a coffee to unwind.

  • Blasters & Twisters: These are the twisted slides good for the beginners and experienced sliders. I noticed that every slides have different twist and turns, one is fast and the other one is not so fast. My son was able to slide here alone and I am so proud of him. 😊😊😊

Now on to the adult slides:
  • Valley of Fear: This is one of the extreme slides just like a free fall but the only difference is that you are in the tube float and it will happen over and over again until it stops.

  • Tubular Terror: If you are a fan of the dark, this one is for you. Take the black tube and slide all the way down in dark. There's also the blue slide with half open/half close part if you are partially afraid of the dark and the other blue slide which is completely open. These are fast slides and has a lot of thrills.

  • Colossal Canyon: This is my family's favorite because we get to ride the raft altogether. Add to it that this ride is sliding side to side giving a big plunge on turns.

  • Radical Rapids: If you want the adrenaline rush of the white water rafting, try this slide and I am sure you will have some fun. You can get the single or double floater to share your screams with your friend.

  • Boomerang: This is also a family slide, you can fit 4 in one boat shaped raft.  I think this is also an extreme ride at least for me, I like that it is so fast and it's like you're going to be a bullet in the canyon because as soon as you reach the last part of your decent, it will be so fast and it will go over the other part.

  • Zero-60 Raceway: Grab a mat and slide through one of the 5 slides. It's like you are competing with other racers through a mat. You have to go down on your tummy and slide like you are in a race or in a surfing board.  My son loves this slide.

  • Bazooka Bowls: Not for weak swimmers, this one will slide through a tube and falls on a 9ft deep pool. But wait there's more, before you can even reach the pool, you still have to swirl inside the bowls for a couple of times before your drop landing.

  • Freefall and SpeedSlide: The 72ft vertical drop is just literally a "free fall". Take out the daredevil in you and try this slide to see if you really are that brave! The Speedslide on the other hand is the more gentle slide if you want to practice before you try the Freefall.

  • Hot Tubs:  Last but not the least, the hot tub. Need I say more? This is where my grandmother hanged out while we are enjoying all of the slides. These tubs are scattered around the waterpark in case you want to dip into the hot pool if  the weather is a bit cold.
